PRACTICE

Alice Landry, MS, ATR-BC, LCAT is the founder and supervising therapist for
Visiting Art Therapy in New York City. She is a registered, board certified art therapist (ATR-BC) and a Licensed Creative Arts therapist (LCAT) with over 20 years experience in
the field. Throughout her career she has worked in several major hospitals in the
New York city metropolitan area and with many different populations, including adults and children, with emotional and physical disabilities.
Some of the issues
Visiting Art Therapy has worked with are: Depression,
Anxiety, Bereavement / Grief, Self-Esteem, Brain Injury, Spinal Cord Injury, Limb
Loss, Stroke, ADHD and Autism-spectrum disorders.

We are unique in that sessions will take place in your home
which makes visiting art therapy more affordable. Art supplies
are also included in session fees.

Therapeutic modalities range from traditional art materials (paint,
pastel, marker, pencil) to more advanced therapeutic tools like
digital photography, computer art, bookmaking and video. These
are all tools that will help a client to express feelings and achieve
deeper self awareness, through a non-verbal process. There are
no special skills required. Anyone can benefit from this process.
